Woodland Birding Hike at 9:30 a.m.
· Registration REQUIRED by February 5.
· Free, but limited to 25 people (NO walk-ups!).
· Paynetown State Recreation Area, Overflow Parking Area
Roam the woods and forest edges in search of woodpeckers, wrens, sparrows, blackbirds, and more! Two outstanding local birders, Nancy Lightfoot and Kathy Ruesink, will help you see and hear finches feeding on seed tops, nuthatches hopping up tree trunks, and warblers hiding amongst the branches on this 60-min hike. Bring your binoculars and dress for the weather! 90 minutes
