Located in the distinctive and scenic heritage site of Woodhorn Museum and QE2 Country Park, the QE2 Open Water Swim Challenges offer an ideal opportunity for anyone to experience the world of open water swimming.
Open Water Swim Challenge distances: 750m - 1.5km or 3km.
The open water swim challenge welcomes participants of all levels, including beginners, recreational swimmers, experienced open water enthusiasts, multi-sport athletes, and anyone looking for a goal to strive towards.
If you're looking to start or improve your open water swimming skills, join us for our weekly sessions at QE2 Lake. Open water swimming sessions take place every Thursday evening from early May to the end of July. For more details, visit our open water swim page.
