Prepare for the Lord’s Supper
On Sunday, we’ll worship God in part by partaking of the Lord’s Supper together. Through the Lord’s Supper, in Christ’s presence, we remember that he sacrificed everything to save the us and the world, showing us what love is. We also have the opportunity to rededicate our lives to sharing his love. Let us all prayerfully prepare for this act of worship. As the Apostle Paul wrote, “Examine yourselves, and only then eat of the bread and drink of the cup” (1 Cor. 11:28, NRSVue).
