The workshop is designed to support the wellbeing of adults by connecting them with nature and giving them the opportunity to learn a new skill or craft. In this session we will be learning how to carve greenwood with a knife to make tent pegs, butter knives and mushrooms.We will start by taking a wonder through the wonderful ancient woodland at Hazel Hill Wood to take notice of nature and collect firewood. Then we will gather around a campfire to do some whittling. You will learn how to use a knife safely to carve greenwood and transform sticks into tent pegs, butter knives and mushrooms!
