This class builds on techniques learned in Wood Lathe 102 - Introduction to Bowls. The class focuses on traditional turning tools including the bowl gouge and scrapers. Students will learn how to prepare a bowl blank for mounting on the lathe with a four-jaw chuck, advanced shaping and hollowing techniques, and finishing passes.Students will make 2 bowls in this class a traditionally shaped bowl and a small hollow form.
