This four part course will introduce attendees to the world of wood carving. Great for beginners and those looking to learn a new skill.About this Event
In this class, you'll learn the essentials of carving basic figures out of wood. You'll come away with not just the objects you carve, but the tools (Knife and gouge) themselves in which to keep carving at home. Skills students will learn include material selection, tool technique, and sharpening.
Taught by local carver and woodworker Cliff Morton.
This workshop series will will take place weekly starting on Friday January 26th and running through February 16th
