About the Speaker
Anna-Louise Pickering is a writer, photographer and conservationist who has dedicated her life to the welfare of endangered, sick and vulnerable creatures.
For over 25 years she worked alongside her late mother Pollyanna, who was passionate about painting animals she had seen in their natural habitats β a quest which took her to all seven continents.
About the Talk
From being given an orphaned bear cub for her 21st birthday to being charged by a komodo dragon, life with Pollyanna was never dull. In this light-hearted talk Anna-Louise shares new stories of expeditions, from searching for the worldβs rarest wolf to bottle-feeding a baby panda and photographing jaguars in Brazil.
