Join Forestry England's Community Ranger at Wraxall Piece to learn how each woodland is unique and how Forestry England looks after the nation’s forests. We will explore the trees of the forest and the role they play in fighting climate change and supplying essential sustainable timber. We will look out and listen for signs of forest wildlife, and think about the wonderful benefits of time spent in nature. This walk is suitable for people with a basic level of fitness We will walk approx. 5 miles during the afternoon.
We will be walking on footpaths and trails which may be muddy and uneven so please wear supportive footwear with good grip. Please dress for the weather with waterproofs, layers, SPF (as appropriate), snacks and plenty of water
