Join us at this beautiful 13th Century Abbey, nestled in the picturesque Village of Sutton Courtney, on the outskirts of Abingdon for a beautiful day of Women's Wellness.
The day is positively brimming with all things deeply restful and calming helping you to release any anxiety, stress or tiredness and leave you feeling radiant & rested with a sense of lightness & ease 💫✨

The day takes place in The Abbey's incredible Great Hall, a spectacular space with dual aspect looking out onto the medieval style courtyard and ancient grounds. Two large French doors open directly onto the magnificent grounds, high vaulted ceilings, a spectacular fireplace, all steeped in incredible historical energy.
It is a real honour to be able to hold these days at such a spectacular and historic venue.
What to expect:
Upon arrival you will be greeted with refreshments and a chance to settle in and meet each other. We’ll begin to introduce some gentle relaxation techniques to help release any tension, stress or anxiety. We’ll slowly sprinkle over some Somatic and Yoga movement specifically designed to release and nurture tired minds and bodies and some gentle breath work to calm and rejuvenate. This will be a morning of deep release.
We'll take some time to explore the grounds of The Abbey before lunch, connecting with Autumn nature, tuning in to the sounds of the burbling brook and observing the abundance of wildlife sharing the grounds with us. There are also residence muntjack deers that roam around the grounds nibbling on shrubs 🌱🌿
We'll walk amongst the gardens and wander around the vast allotment and labyrinth to the south of the Abbey perhaps taking a moment to sit by the pond and observe for a while. There are some enormous and very old trees in the Abbey grounds to marvel at too. We'll mindfully focus on the senses during this walk, taking in the peace of our surroundings and yet the thriving business of the natural world before us.
There will be a sumptuous lunch served in the Parlour, created by the private Abbey Chef, before drifting into a more gentle afternoon of deep rest and relaxation.
The Great Hall will be set up to hold a sound spa in the afternoon, with crystal healing bowls, chimes, Tibetan bowls and more, a beautiful cacophony of sounds complimented beautifully with the acoustics of the Great Hall.
This will be an afternoon of deep rest and relaxation.

The Abbey itself has been recognised as a building of outstanding historic and architectural interest and is hailed as a textbook example of an English medieval manor house. Its history is so colourful with a visit from the Dalia Lama in 1973! There are so many features and nooks and crannies to explore, which we will have time to do if you wish after lunch.
