Grief tending provides us with the elements to help transform whatever it is we are carrying, weather that’s fear, grief, anger, shame. When women gather in community to tend to our grief the river of sorrow slows down. It slows enough for us to feel it and that is when the healing begins, both collectively and personally. Our next Grief tending circle will be held on the spring Equinox. As i was reflecting on this it feels like a potent time to be honoring grief and loss. The equinox represents harmony between light and dark and helps us to reflect on our own inner dualities and strengths.
What to expect:
grounding, softening, connection, creative practices, remembering, poetry, somatic movement, embodiment, singing, dancing, ritual practices, shaking, release, breathe, nature, fire ritual, writing, resting.
