Our Next Women’s Meeting: Hands-On Sourdough Breadmaking Workshop Friday, October 3.
You will learn how to make beautiful, crusty sourdough loaves. We’ll walk you through mixing dough, shaping, scoring, and baking. Along with the breadmaking, we’ll enjoy a Bible lesson, fellowship, and a delicious fall meal (of course featuring fresh sourdough bread!). It will be a remarkable and memorable evening together.
Please read carefully, as you’ll need to sign up for one of the two participation options.
Cut-off date to sign up: September 27th
OPTION 1 – Full Workshop (Hands-On Breadmaking) This option allows you to enjoy the complete sourdough experience—hands-on in every step of the process!
You’ll:
*Mix and prepare your own loaf (to take home and bake the next day).
*Learn shaping and scoring techniques.
Bake a sample loaf together during class for tasting.
*Take home a recipe card and full instructions so you can confidently bake your loaf.
What to Bring (links provided for reference):
A glass or plastic bowl (for mixing dough)
A tea towel (to cover the bowl)

OPTION 2 – Ministry & Meal Only
If you’d rather skip the breadmaking portion, you are warmly invited to join us later in the evening.
You’ll:
*Enjoy a delicious fall meal prepared by our volunteers, fresh sourdough bread baked during the workshop.
*Enjoy the Bible lesson.
*Share in a rich time of fellowship with other women.
