Dr. Carol Dweck coined the phrase “Fixed Mindset vs. Growth Mindset” decades ago when she conducted experiments at Stamford University. She noted that the way we think affects our performance and our attitudes about our outlook. Over time this shapes the way we feel about ourselves and our place in the world.
In this presentation, Theresa Waldron will illustrate the difference between the 2 mindsets, help participants assess which they are and help them decide if they’d like to continue along that path or to change.
Theresa Waldron brings 30+ years experience in creating & facilitating award-winning programs at Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living & Memory Care Communities, Senior Centers, Schools, Churches, Studios and more!
Theresa holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Art and a Bachelor’s in Metaphysical Humanistic Science.
She is currently a full time student pursuing 2 degrees:
an MBA in Strategic Leadership
a PhD in Holistic Metaphysical Life Coaching! She has 2 YouTube Channels that promote mental fitness with a light-hearted vibe.
She teaches monthly Art Appreciation, History, Make & Take Classes that tie education with socialization at local senior centers and senior living communities.
