About this Event

WOMEN'S DRUMMING CIRCLE

There was a time in our history when the primary percussionists and drummers were women. The first named drummer in history was a Mesopotamian priestess named Lipushiau. She lived in the city-state of Ur in 2380 BC, which at that time had conquered all the surrounding city-states. She was the spiritual, financial and administrative head of the Ekishnugal, the most important temple in Ur dedicated to the moon god, Nanna-Suen. Her emblem of office was the balag-di, a small round frame drum used to lead liturgical chanting. In 2380 BC, Lipushiau ruled!

Tribal traditions, healing ceremonies, shamanism from Siberia are the earliest forms of human connection with our Creator. We are practicing what started in the beginning in ancient Siberian has been passed down to today. A lot of these ceremonies and traditions have come from the native Americans. This is all healing medicine. Using this form, drumming and rattling, we can overcome old traumas, repair illnesses, see life in a different perspective and promote healing in our Body, Mind, Emotions and Spirit.

Our process is to help you find your passion, express yourself in a soulful, intuitive, creative way, while finding your purpose and focus.

Drums are at the core of healing work in spirit. The beat of the drum puts us in Theta Brainwaves – a light, trance state enabling direct connection to the source in the place of alternative reality, known as Spirit World.

Drumming will help you to be able to receive direct information from the universe and just be in a quiet, peaceful restoring place.

You may receive spirit guides. You will be able to release anything you no longer need. You can plant seeds to manifest whatever you want in your life. You are able to give thanks and appreciation wherever necessary, you can release toxic energy, and then achieve restoring and reconnecting to the Creator and the Universe… your Bliss. It is a chance to be connected to light, love, and leverything and nothing.

When like-minded people come together in a drumming circle, the healing is focused and becomes very powerful. The drumming affects the people in the circle, and sends out healing energy like the ripples in a pond.

Come join us at the LeSound Temple for an amazing evening of rhythm and connection! This in-person event is exclusively for women who love to drum or want to give it a try.
