We invite you to join us in discovering the deep connection and relief that exists in sisterhood. We will sit in circle and weave words from our hearts followed by an invitation to express freely on the dance floor. The music will be curated with the intention to open the body and invite the essence of the soul to emerge and be witnessed in fullness. Ages 18+. Entry is $20-40. Please pay before arriving as we will not be making monetary exchanges at the door. In cases of cost being prohibitive, please reach out to Carrie and Ayala at [email protected] for an alternative method of entry.
Outline of event:
6:15-6:30 Arrival
6:30 Doors close. This is a closed container, meaning that there will be no permitted entry after the doors close at 6:30.
6:30-6:50ish Opening Circle
6:50ish Dancing Begins
8:15 ish Closing Circle
Exit Venue by 9pm
Our Agreements:
-This is a sober and safe(r) space. Come sober, stay sober, leave sober
-We dance with consent. Give and receive clear and enthusiastic consent before engaging in dance or movement with anyone
-We dance without words (sounds are okay and encouraged)
-We dance without shoes
-We dance without phones. Please no photos or videos
-This is a confidential space. Please respect the privacy of others so that we may all be in our full expression
-We welcome bodies in all forms of expression
