Women’s Creative Wellbeing Day

If you're a woman, based in Leicester or Leicestershire, this day is for you! Join us for a creative, hands-on day focused on real-life ways to support your well-being - in and out of work.

Whether you’ve been feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or just need a little time to re-centre, this is a space made for youWe want you to figure out what feels good for you.

Throughout the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in three interactive activities that help you explore what well-being can look like in your everyday life:

1. Creative Journaling & Writing

Explore how to use journaling to boost your mental health, reflect on your goals, and build a simple routine that works for you.

1. Fabric Stitching

Learn the basics of slow stitching - no experience needed. It’s a soothing, mindful practice that lets you switch off while creating something beautiful.

1. Tea Light Painting

Design and decorate your own mini candle holder. A small, calming creative ritual that brings a touch of joy to your day.

Is this really free?

Thanks to generous funding from De Montfort University, we’re able to bring this full-day event to you completely free of charge. That includes:

• All your materials and equipment
• A tasty lunch
• A welcoming space to just be surrounded by other supportive women

If after the workshop you’d like to dive deeper - maybe into journaling, stitching, or building your well-being routine - we’ll also be offering free one-to-one virtual chats with facilitators. You’ll be able to ask questions, reflect on what you’ve learned, or get tailored advice to support your journey.
