Women Supporting Women with this WALKING event along Cherokee Street's Antique Row. Starting at Jefferson and ending at Lemp with event stage host Bluewood Brewery.
There are many Women Owned Businesses & shops which support Women’s Rights, along this stretch of Cherokee Street. (We will update with a list of businesses assisting in this event soon.)
Events:
Stop in, shop, & let's get to know each other.
2:00pm - At Bluewood Brewery you can listen to women perform, tell personal stories, educate about healthcare, & women’s rights.
It’s going to be all about being a woman. Men & those affected by the targeting of women's healthcare & believe in a woman’s right to choose of course can join in all activities.
Please RSVP for a seat inside Bluewood Brewing. Seating is limited to the intimate space.
For overflow there will be audio outside to hear the music & speakers hosted inside.
About the event:
We will “WALK”, this is not a march and not associated with the disbanded St. Louis Women's March. We do support the People's March, this event hopes to be Saint Louis's regional contribution to gather and build community in this political climate. We hope to meet with like-minded peers & collaborate for creating another event on International Women's Day, if possible to plan.
