Community and connection enables healing that can’t happen in isolation. While this is a sharing circle rather than a healing circle (we connect and share from our experiences to support each other rather than focus on formal healing work), we believe the importance of feeling and being in healthy connection with other women is essential, not merely a luxury, to our health, wellbeing, and sanity. We have fun, we laugh, and sometimes we cry. Whatever it is that shows up for you, we hope to hold a space for you to just be.The circle starts with the facilitator setting sacred space with a focal point that illustrates the path to womanhood in our culture. These carefully selected symbols are part of the All Faiths Movement’s tradition and help draw our conscious awareness to our experiences and needs that developed during birth, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, clear to our old age and deaths. It is a way to bring solutions to our conscious awareness that are already a part of us while stimulating discussion and sharing.
After setting the space, we do a brief meditative connection that helps us leave the mundane behind and be in more harmony as a group. We recognize the energy of memories, people, anything really that has helped us become the women we are. Then we go around the circle and check in with what we’re dealing with as women, things we want to share or get feedback on, or other relevant needs or discussion points for us as women.
All those who primarily live in a socially feminine role are welcome to join, including transwomen and those who are intersex. We ask that you present as a woman and hold that energy so that it remains a woman’s space.
LOCATION
Please arrive to entrance of Blue Slide Playground at Riverview Trail, Frick Park, promptly at 2pm. A woman from the women's circle will meet you there and start heading down to the circle at 2pm as you will not be able to locate the Stone Circle on your own since it is not marked.
For the warm season we are now meeting at the Stone Circle in Frick Park which is tended to by the All Faiths Movement community with permission from the park.

Amy Lohr has been facilitating women’s circles for over 8 years and has over 16 years experience in coaching, healing work and psychotherapy. She is an initiate of the All Faiths Movement (www.all-faiths.org), who values respecting and supporting individuals from all faiths and backgrounds in their spiritual journey and personal development.
