Workshop session with Freya and Naomi at Access Bike - for women only. All ages welcome - children aged under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.* Are you finding your brakes aren't working as effectively as they were?
* Are you gears making a noise you don't think they should?
* Would you like to know how your bike works, how to maintain it, and how to change brake pads and keep them up together?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, come along to our Free Bike Check and Learn to Fix session.
These sessions take place at our new venue at 10 John St in Stroud and will be run by Naomi and Freya, and will feature small groups or 1:1 support, with only a few slots for each session. The venue is bright and clean, with plenty of seating. There is a single low step and a wide front door. Please contact us if you have any accessibility requirements: [email protected].
Free to attend - donations are welcome if you can afford it. We can accept card or cash payments.
Please bring your bike if you want to and can. Minor problems can be fixed for free - if we need to use a new part we will have to charge for it (we'll check with you in advance), and for replacement second-hand parts we will ask for a donation.
If you don't have a bike, you are still welcome to come along and learn a little bike maintenance, and get advice on bikes that might suit you - including from our refurbished stock, available either finished and for sale or as donations which need to be refurbished and can be 'earned' through helping out at the project if you are aged under 25.
