Women's Self Defense Workshop with Mike GilletteDescription:
This 4-hour, crash-course combines both lecture and hands-on activities that build confidence and awareness skills. Participants will learn tactics for setting verbal boundaries, evading dangerous situations, and effectively countering an assault.

Who Should Attend:
The workshop is open to females aged 13 and up. Participants between ages 13 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult female guardian or family member. This is also a very empowering mother/daughter activity.
About the Instructor:
Mike Gillette is a mindset coach, speaker, and author. He has served as an Army Paratrooper, SWAT Commander and Government Counter-Terrorism Consultant. Post-9/11, he developed the FAA cabin crew security training program and created the Threat Behavior Detection Program for the Walt Disney Company. From 2006 through 2011 he worked as a bodyguard for such clients as Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and Sylvester Stallone. He holds instructor credentials in over 20 use-of-force subjects and black belts in Aiki-Jitsu, Filipino Arnis and Hapkido.
