Have you ever wondered to yourself what you might do if you were attacked by someone, or otherwise if you were in a situation that you needed to defend yourself?
If you are a woman living in America, chances are you HAVE had to think about this, and perhaps you have even wanted to take a self-defense class that would assist you in knowing what to do.
Well this class is a chance to get into your body, feel the danger you might experience in those scenarios, and learn how to react to it in a way that totally empowers you.
Nervous-system informed and set in a safe space, this class will be led by Leo Saraiva who is known for his grounding presence and service to the feminine.
You will learn strategies and tips, plus the following:
- Common grapplings
- Common holds
- Places to attack
- Different situations (bar, night club, home parties, street, alley)
- War game
- Weapons (how to use)
- Escaping strategy
Leo is an accomplished martial artist having attained the level of 5th Dan black belt, and has trained for over two decades. He has also been practicing Reiki since 2015 and energy healing with body work since 2010. In community he is considered to be a sacred warrior and representative of the Divine Masculine, offering safe and supportive space for people from all walks of life to learn the arts of healing and self-empowerment. He's excited to offer this class to the women of the tribe!
