Join us for our first-ever women’s rock climbing weekend! Led by two of our experienced female guides, this weekend is designed to create a fun and inclusive atmosphere where you can build confidence, connect with like-minded women, and enjoy some time on the rock.
This weekend is all about supporting women in the mountains. Whether you’re taking your first steps into rock climbing, or looking to advance yourskills, join us for a weekend of learning, inspiration, and community connection. Supported by The North Face this event is designed to break down barriers to rock climbing by showcasing female role models and creating a supportive environment where you can build confidence, develop new skills, and find a community that lasts well beyond the weekend.

𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽:
What you will learn:
How to fit a harness, helmet, and climbing shoes correctly
Tying in and belaying using industry-standard techniques
Basic movement skills: body positioning, footwork, balance
Communication and safety calls
Introduction to outdoor climbing systems
How to trust your gear and move confidently on real rock
Lots of time on the wall to practise with support
𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽:
What you will learn:
Lead climbing techniques, including: clipping quickdraws, rope management, body movement, and resting strategies to reduce pump.
Lead belaying techniques, including: correct rope handling and paying out slack, soft catches vs. hard catches, belay positioning, and catching falls.
Route reading & decision-making.
Communication and teamwork.
Anchor systems and security methods.
Building independence, mindset & confidence.
