This 8-month Women’s Breathwork Group begins Marhc 3, 2026, meeting on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays through October 2026. Sessions are offered in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual).
The group blends education, guided breathwork, and group reflection to support menstrual health and cyclical wellbeing, integrating perspectives from Western medicine, Chinese medicine, and qigong.
The first session is 2 hours and includes orientation and foundational education. All remaining sessions include teaching, group breathwork practice, and sharing.
Topics include:
- Understanding the menstrual cycle
- Cycle tracking
- Self-care for each phase of the cycle
- Breathwork practices tailored to cyclical needs
This group is offered as a pilot program and is part of a doctoral research study exploring qigong breathwork for menstrual concerns.
Participants are invited (but not required) to securely share menstrual cycle tracking data through a HIPAA-compliant system to support the research.
Those who choose to participate in data sharing will be eligible to receive a complimentary Medical Qigong Therapy treatment after all data has been collected.
Materials included: cycle-tracking journal and lifetime access to session recordings.
Suggested donation: $100 (covers materials and administrative costs).
