Join Capitol Hill Clothiers and Suited for Change as they help further the mission of providing professional attire, coaching, and skills training to women in need who are seeking employment.
Each donor will receive a tax write-off form and a certificate for $250 off a custom suit from Capitol Hill Clothiers
What To Do
- Collect your lightly used women's professional attire (blazers, slacks, skirts, dress shirts, etc.) Simple Guideline: Would you feel confident wearing your donated items to a job interview? If so, then our clients would likely feel the same way!
- All clothing must be dry-cleaned before drop-off in order to be accepted
- Come to Jo Malone London in City Center DC any time between 1 PM and 5 PM on Saturday, August 20th
- Receive your tax write-off form and discount certificate from Capitol Hill Clothiers
- If you'd like, you can redeem your custom clothing discount and be fitted for a new suit on-site!
- Follow up with Suited for Change to learn about volunteer opportunities, find other ways to support their cause, or just stay up-to-date on the impact your donations make
Capitol Hill Clothiers is a concierge custom clothing company with the mission of offering the best customer experience in the industry. With over 2,500 fabrics to choose from, the ability to have custom fabrics created for you, and hundreds of detailed customization options, the possibilities are endless. We will evaluate your current clothing, lifestyle, and professional preferences to make sure you get everything you need and end up with a versatile wardrobe that works for you. On top of that, you’ll be brought your choice of sipping spirit or wine and an optional cigar to make the fitting experience not a sales process, but the foundation of a relationship with your new custom clothier.
Your garment will arrive in 4-6 weeks and be hand-delivered to you. For your first order, we will come for a final fitting and perform a thorough QC inspection to ensure you get exactly what you needed.
After every suit order, you’ll also get a free photoshoot in your new outfit so you can reap the rewards of having a fully custom-made garment all for yourself and have some professional photos to show it off!
Once you’ve ordered from Capitol Hill Clothiers, your measurements are in our system. if you want another garment, all you have to do is tell us and we’ll go through the design process with you in person or remotely so you can have more garments made without having to be fitted anew every time.

Suited for Change has been a constant and reliable member of our community for almost 30 years. Since 1992, we have served more than 29,000 local women.
We provide professional attire, coaching, and skills training to women in need who are seeking employment.
These women are referred to us by more than 120 partners in the DC region. Our network of referral partners includes job training and workforce development programs, transitional housing programs and halfway houses, shelters, and other programs serving domestic violence survivors, local and state government agencies, and faith-based organizations. All Suited for Change services are available at no cost.
As a result of the current pandemic, the women we serve are most directly impacted by Covid-19, and more than ever it is vital that we continue this important work in our community.
