Grace Blackmer, Sarah Louisignau, and Allison Korson will be hosting a FOUR part self defense series, once a month, beginning in January 2025!This is a great introduction to Martial Arts and Self Defense if you are a beginner and want to learn how to practically defend yourself against larger and stronger opponents while joining a safe and welcoming community!
Sarah will be running everyone through a nervous system warm up for each course and then Grace and Allison will be showing some practical self defense applications.
This day will be held at ATA Martial Arts on Centre St in Traverse City, and will be focused on the stand up portion and how to deal with self defense if you're walking or standing.
Wear athletic clothing and bring a water bottle if you have one.
This course is BEGINNER FRIENDLY and trigger accommodating.
This is going to be a FUN, female only, learning environment! Nobody will be attacked or made to feel uncomfortable.
Nobody will be pushed to their physical limits.
Everyone should leave with some new, valuable information!
No experience necessary.
