Pistol Orientation & Training for new to intermediate shooters. Course Description: Designed for new shooters, or those who desire to brush up on their shooting fundamentals. Our 4 hour course includes an effective mixture of lecture and hands on training designed to prepare each new gun owner to be safe gun handlers and competent shooters . Session includes the 4-Firearm Safety rules and safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; with emphasis on proper grip, sights , and trigger manipulation. Also dry fire/dry practice, and continued opportunities for skill development. A brief overview of Self Defense Law will be included, covering self-defense in public and in your home.
Equipment Required: Bring your gun w/all your magazines and/or speed loaders, Hearing Protection, Eye Protection (Sun Glasses or Prescription OK), Gun case, at least 100 rounds of ammunition, and your motivation. This class can be used towards the 16 hours required for Ccw permit.
