Blue lotus is a plant that has been used for thousands of years as a sacred, spiritual flower and a medicinal herb. Like cacao, blue lotus contains specific compounds that give it psychoactive properties. Blue lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is a type of water lily that is native to Egypt and certain regions in Asia.
