AAUW-Garrett Branch presents the Women's History Monologues, a tradition started over 30 years ago, featuring performers who read a monologue portraying a woman of historical note and interest. This year, the monologues will be directed by AAUW member Jennifer Virts and will highlight women who were/are trailblazers of equality and activism. Workshops for girls 8-18 and adult women wanting to be in the performance will be offered on February 11 and February 8, respectively, at the Gallery Shop in Oakland.
