What’s a Clothing Exchange?
A clothing exchange or "swap" is a fun gathering where ladies bring their unwanted clothes to trade for “new-to-you” items. Instead of discarding or donating clothes you no longer wear, you’ll have the chance to exchange them for fresh pieces, all while connecting with others. It is friendly for the environment and a way to combat waste created by fast fashion trends while refreshing your wardrobe sustainably.
Here’s How It Works:
-Bring gently used women’s clothing, accessories, or shoes (no stains or holes).
Place your items on the appropriate labeled tables or clothing racks when you arrive.
-Browse and swap during the event to find something you’ll love.
-If you bring five items, you can swap up to 5 items. Honor system.
-Even if you bring five items you don't wear and leave with two items you love, that is a win for your wardrobe.
-Bring as many women's clothing that you are no longer wearing.
-If you want to bring items and not swap anything, that is ok too; come and enjoy the coffee morning and help others find items.
A Few Things to Note:
-We will support TheBridge2Hope with our unswapped clothing.
Supporting TheBridge2Hope is a powerful way to make a direct impact on the lives of survivors of human trafficking and exploitation.
-This is a pop-up event—items will only be collected and swapped on the day of the event; please do not bring items to the clubhouse before the event.
This event is open to the public, so feel free to invite your friends, neighbors, and acquaintances from your kids’ school—it’s FREE to attend!
