About this Event
Welcome to the Women's Empowerment Banquet!
This year, we are proud to present a theme that is both bold and inspiring: Shattering Glass Ceilings. The women we honor tonight have not only broken barriers but have also paved the way for others to rise and thrive in spaces where they were once excluded or underestimated. They embody resilience, determination, and the relentless pursuit of success in their respective fields.
We are thrilled to honor four dynamic women who continue to make incredible strides:
- Melissa Cantey Carniege, Founder of Kicks & Fros
- Lisa Engram, Interim Deputy Director of Programs
- Ann Davis, Veteran Teacher & Community Activist
- Dr. Tracie Swilley, Principal of Fairfield Central High School
Each of these remarkable women has shattered glass ceilings in their own unique way—whether it’s through entrepreneurship, leadership, community activism, or education. Their achievements challenge the status quo and serve as a testament to the power of perseverance.
Our keynote speaker, Kesha L. Hayes, has also been a trailblazer, continuously pushing the limits of what’s possible for women in her field. Her words tonight will inspire us all to break free from the limitations set before us and soar to new heights.
The event will be emceed by John "Buddy" Clinton, who will help us celebrate and recognize the achievements of these incredible women.
As we come together to honor these extraordinary individuals, let’s reflect on the importance of shattering glass ceilings. Every barrier broken by these honorees and our keynote speaker is a step toward greater opportunity and equality for all women. This evening is not just about celebrating past victories but igniting the flame within each of us to continue pushing boundaries and leading with purpose.
The Women’s Empowerment Banquet is a celebration of the incredible contributions of women who are making a difference today and every day. There will be inspiring speeches, networking opportunities, and a delicious dinner to enjoy. Together, we’ll empower one another, share our stories, and continue shattering those glass ceilings.
Don’t miss this empowering evening—come be part of the movement!
