About this Event

Feeling the need to rest, recharge, and connect with yourself and others?

Come join a circle that empowers, connects, and uplifts.

You'll be guided from an opening meditation, to sound bath, journalling, sharing and tarot, using the new moon and full moon cycles as dependable celestial timekeepers.

Can’t wait to welcome you into this vibrant space!

New Moon Circles: The new moon symbolises the start of a lunar cycle, making it a potent time for setting intentions, planting seeds of change, and engaging in inward reflection.

We focus on new beginnings, intentions, and personal growth. This is the perfect time to plant the seed for your next dream project, creative endeavour, sticky relationship bit, or to simply invite more compassion into your life and work with cultivating an emotional sanctuary within yourself.

Full Moon Circles: The light of the full moon is said to illuminate things in your life that need to be let go. It represents the peak of the lunar cycle, where energies are amplified, making it a powerful time for reflection, clearing, and celebration.

We focus on culmination, release, and rest during this time. With release often comes grief — it's tricky that way — saying goodbye to our old self to allow the new can be a process. So we make sure to not only focus on what we want to let go of, that pesky chapter we want to close (finally, gosh) but also gratitude — now is the perfect time to take stock of what we do have in our lives that make it so brilliant, abundant and full.

What to bring?

Comfortable clothing (we will be sitting on the floor) layers, a journal, a pen, some water if you'd like, an open and supportive heart.

What is a Women's Circle Anyway?

The origins of Women's Circles have deep, ancient roots. They've evolved from many different forms and intentions, from a variety of cultures. In our modern world, women's circles are gatherings for deep rest, self-reflection, goal-setting, and empowerment with the guidance and support of each other. By participating, we honour a lineage of women from across cultures and time!

These circles include a variety of tools including but not limited to: meditation, sound, music, somatic movements, dance, ritual, divination; always sharing. Eternally and today, at their luscious core, Women's Circles are about community, equality, and mutual support.

Why the Moon?

Ah, the moon! Outside of the mystical energies the moon may or may not have, the moon reminds us that two weeks have, in fact, gone by. It asks us to check-in: Did you actually do the things you said you were going to? Are you, my dear, actually living in alignment still or do you need to do some tweaking?

Join us in this nurturing circle where we honour ourselves, uplift one another, and embrace the wisdom of the moon’s cycles.

About the Space — Hollybrook Haven:

With a large walkable labyrinth stained onto its welcoming floors, Hollybrook Haven was designed and created by yoga instructor, musician, and my lovely mother, Stacey Anne Nada Hollings as a space to guide, support and hold others on their inner journeys. Covered in crystals, plants, and singing bowls, I am very grateful to be able to host these Women's Circles in this unique and grounding environment.

We recognize that Hollybrook Haven is located and operates within the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Williams Treaty First Nation, as well as the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat and Haudenosaunee peoples. We give thanks from our hearts and ask everyone to reflect on the Indigenous nations that have lived on this land since time immemorial and how, as individuals, we can move towards reconciliation.
