Minnesota Women's Woodland Network is hosting three workshops geared towards participants with little or no experience with a chainsaw. The principal focus will be on safety; safe posture, safe practices, safe clothing, and safe habits. This workshop will empower women to be comfortable with running a saw and saw knowledge. These are the same workshop, just offered in three different locations. Classes are limited to 15 per workshop. Cost: $175. Limited scholarships available; email [email protected] with "Chainsaw Workshop" in the subject line to apply. MNWWN is waiving the registration fee for our chainsaw safety workshops for all Tribal nation members. This initiative is to ensure inclusive and accessible education for everyone involved in woodland management.
