Women's Candlelight Rest Sound Bath

Welcome in the coming Winter and sink into a quieter tempo. Let this be the perfect way to prepare an inner sanctuary of peace - before the festive season is underway!

Studio - Thrive Wellbeing has a ground floor studio at the end of the corridor which is comfortable and fully equipped.

ATMOSPHERE: Enter a dimmed, twinkly, yet welcoming space in the presence of ther Women, to compleley let go and recalibrate. Blankets, mats, bolsters, eye pillows provided, there are some cushions. Bring your own cushion just in case.

YOGA NIDRA: Once settled we beging with a lying down, guided meditation. It is like an extended version of 'Savasna' (lying down relaxation at the end of Yoga class). This is where we will begin. Orietta will use gentle words and light instrumental sounds to lull your nervous system, mind & body into letting go. A guided body scan & soft voice may increase the hypnotic semi-wakefullness state.

SOUND HEALING: The voice will gradually harmonise with other healing sounds, such as the vibrations of the Himalayan Bowls - gently deepening into a state of half wakefulness. Orietta's vocal toning & harmonics will merge into the crystal bowls creating an enchating & angelic dreamscape.

GROUNDING: Grounding percussion will merge into the sound to bring the body back safely into an aware and embodied state through pleasant organic sounds, followed by a verbally guided return to wakefulness.

First Trimester

Epilepsy or history of seizures

Not for very serious mental health conditions: eg Bipolar disorder, severe depression, or serious traumas, as there may be risk of re-traumatising once in a deeply relaxed state. Please check before with doctor or contact Orietta.

Not for those with Pace Maker or metal medical implants (as vibrations can dislodge or create erratic heatbeat (consult doctor first).

Not suitable for anyone under the influence of recreational drugs or alchohol

Hearing aids must be removed once sounds bath start (as it could cause painful interference) the vibrations will still calm & recalibrate you.

Sound Healing may be uncomfortable for those with tinnitus
