About this Event
Our Women’s Cancer Circles are Back & In Person!
Sunday, April 6th & 20th from 12 pm - 1:30 pm for women newly diagnosed and/or currently receiving treatments.
Your one-time donation of $20.00 will give you access to both circles in April.
Our circle has space for 7 women who wish to develop a meaningful circle practice.
Due to the limited number of spaces, refunds are available up to 3 days before the event. This allows those on the waitlist to attend and experience the Women's Circle.
If notice is given less than 3 days before the event, you will be offered to attend the next series of circles or your payment will be considered a donation to CRIM.
Our Women’s Circles are safe spaces where you are seen, heard, and held in community while sharing stories from your heart.
The circle listens deeply with attention and compassion and does not presume to advise, save, or fix anyone. There is no crosstalk in the circle. It is where we treat each other with kindness and respect, and honor each other’s unique ways of healing. Our Agreements ensure acceptance, nonjudgment, and confidentiality.
Through guided meditation, mindful self-compassion, breathwork, poems, Tibetan and crystal bowls, and silence, our circles create space for you to discover your authentic self during your cancer journey.
It is a place where we heal in the community of others.
ABOUT OUR WOMEN’S CIRCLES
We offer two Women’s Cancer Circles.
One Circle is for those newly diagnosed and about to begin or are currently receiving treatments. This Circle meets in person on the first and third Sundays of each month from 12 pm to 1:30 pm.
The second Circle is for those who have completed the first round of treatments and want to navigate life beyond cancer. This Circle meets on the second and fourth Sundays of each month from 12 pm to 1:30 pm.
PLEASE NOTE: The doors will open 30 minutes before our Circle begins so you can arrive early and settle in. The doors to the facility will close 5 minutes before the start of our Circle to avoid disruptions. No admittance after the doors are closed.
Our Circle Host is Susan Rinkus. Susan has been holding healing, learning, and discovery circles since 2020. She began offering the Women’s Circles at Cancer Rehab & Integrative Medicine in 2022.
