Join me for my Women's Only Introduction to Handguns course, where you will learn to handle firearms with skill and confidence. Whether you're considering purchasing a firearm, feeling uncertain about using one you already own, or seeking empowerment and fun outside of your daily routine, this course is designed with you in mind.As a retired Detective, NRA certified pistol instructor, and range safety officer (RSO), I provide a welcoming space for women who desire to feel safe and confident in their ability to handle firearms.

I understand the unique challenges and needs of women and am dedicated to providing personalized instruction to meet those needs.

Course Overview:

In this introductory course, you will learn essential handgun fundamentals in a relaxed and supportive setting.

Course Details:

• Duration: 2.5 to 3 hours

Topics Covered:

• Handgun Anatomy: Learn about the various components and nomenclature of the handgun.
• Basic Handgun Safety
• Proper grip and shooting stance
• Trigger press and Trigger control
• breathing techniques
• Sight alignment / Sight picture
• Reloading
• Common malfunctions
• Live fire practice to put skills to use

Ammunition Requirement:

Participants must provide 50 rounds of handgun ammunition.Required Equipment:

• Handgun (.32 to .45 caliber)
• Ear protection (electronic preferred, available upon request)
• Eye protection (available upon request)

Please note: Students are responsible for their range fees. Range fees are to be paid directly to the range.
Handgun Available: Don't have your own? No problem! I provide a Glock 19 or Glock 43 for use during instruction, based on availability.
