About this Event
Join us for an empowering and interactive workshop designed to help women enhance their advocacy skills! Hosted by Pillow Talk Scotland in collaboration with She Advocates Society, this session is all about equipping you with the tools to stand up for yourself and others — no matter the topic at hand.
What to expect
Ever needed to speak up but didn’t know how? At the heart of the workshop is the Advocacy Action Plan, a 7-step toolkit designed to help you confidently navigate advocacy in everyday life. Unlike traditional information sessions, this workshop is a collaborative event where participants can share stories, learn from each other, and create a supportive network.
We’re committed to creating a safe and inclusive space with opt-in participation — you can engage at your comfort level, whether that means actively contributing or simply listening. Every perspective and experience is valued, and our goal is to foster meaningful discussions in a welcoming environment.
Our guest speaker: Eleni Selleck
We’re delighted to welcome Eleni Selleck, founder of She Advocates Society, as our guest speaker. Eleni is a passionate advocate dedicated to empowering women through education and skill-building. Her journey — from growing up in foster care to becoming a law student, pageant queen, and advocacy educator — makes her an inspiring role model for this session.
Beyond her advocacy work, Eleni is also Mrs. Galaxy Australia 2024, representing her country internationally with grace and distinction.
