This event is a celebration of International Women’s Day by spotlighting the successes of women in business and sparking meaningful conversations about feminine entrepreneurship. Discover the impact of the UKSPF and FreelanceHER programmes, connect with inspiring individuals, and share your expertise to empower the next generation of women at the start of their entrepreneurial journeys.

Since 2020, FreelanceHER has helped over 400 women explore, start, and grow new businesses. This event is a celebration of the latest amazing achievement of the programme to help more than 200 people in partnership with Salford City Council, fully funded by UK Government via the Shared Prosperity Fund.

6:00 PM – Arrival & Drinks: Kick off the evening with drinks, canapes and informal networking

6:30 PM – Welcome & Highlights of the last year

6:40 PM – Panel Discussion: Learn from a stellar panel featuring business leaders, programme alumni and local decision-makers, hosted by Alana.

7:15 PM – Lightning Pitches: FreelanceHER participants will share their stories and call for support. All in 99 seconds!

7:30 PM – Networking: Wrap up the evening by forging new connections and supporting these inspiring women in their journeys.
