Join Women Who Explore Minnesota at Lake Maria State Park for a fall hike to raise awareness for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
About this Event

Come enjoy an approximate 3.2-mile easy fall hike at Lake Maria State Park to help raise awareness for Domestic Violance Awareness Month (DVAM). Participants must be 18+ years old. Come solo or bring a friend!

Event Details: We will meet outside of the Trail Center by the picnic table at 1:00pm. Please note: this is a FREE event, however a MN State Parks pass is required and available for purchase at the park entrance. $7 daily pass, or $35 annual pass (valid at any MN state park for one year).

Driving Directions: The park may be reached from the south via I-94(exit 193)at Highway 25, Chelsea Rd. and Wright County Road 111, or from the north via I-94 (exit 183)to Hwy 8, County Rd. 39 and County Rd. 111.

Liability Waiver: Friendly reminder that it is required to sign the e-waiver before attending your first Women Who Explore event. Please sign on an annual basis.

Remember to bring:

* trail shoes/boots with good traction (that can get dirty and/or muddy)

* your own water

* pack snacks and/or light lunch

* dress appropriately with layers

* bring a light backpack for your belongings

Covid Guidance: Please practice self-awareness and do not attend if you have had any flu-like symptoms or have been exposed to and/or tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days.

Cancellation Policy: If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite to allow other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
