Welcome to the Women Veterans for Women Veterans (WV2 Initiative) Kickoff event! Join us at the VA Salt Lake City Regional Office Deer Valley Conference Room for a day of celebrating and empowering women who have served our country. This in-person event is all about bringing together female veterans to support each other, and kickstart this exciting Veteran peer initiative. WV2 is an Initiative designed for women Veterans that are enrolled in VA healthcare to connect with women not currently enrolled, and act as a guide and friend as they navigate the process. As a WV2 Champion, you will participate in a handful of virtual meetings where you’ll be provided with information on the VA and the services available within the VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System. You will receive a champion kit to assist you. At the end of the WV2 season, you will have the opportunity to meet and connect with other women Veterans and build friendships at a celebration held on Women Veteran Recognition Day- June 12, 2025.
