About the event:

If you are interested in starting out mountain biking this Summer, this one-day clinic will give you all the skills you need! This womens only mountain biking clinic will take you through all aspects of mountain biking. You will start the day with basic bike handling skills training such as body positioning, braking, shifting, cornering and more. We will then break for lunch and then continue on with our training on trail! After about a 2-hour ride, we will head back to GH Breck for some appetizers and beverages as we learn about basic bike mechanics! This full-day event will leave you feeling confident on the bike!

Who is my instructor? Hey! I’m Bel. Growing up in the small mountain town of Crested Butte, my life is centered on the outdoors. In the summer I coach the High School Mountain Bike Team and guide for Irwin Guides. My passion is to encourage Women to get outside and learn new things! In college I helped start Keeping Women Wild, a club focused on creating spaces for women to get outside together. Creating supportive environments is an important piece for people to gain foundational skills! During my time guiding for Irwin Guides, I have hosted a couple Women's clinics focused on Mountain Biking and Backcountry Skiing. As a certified Mountain Bike Instructor, I am prepared to create a safe space and teach the basics of bike handling. Join me as we build on skills you already have and learn new things!
