Artists will present impactful perspectives on tough topics,including addiction, domestic violence, homelessness,
PTSD, trauma and suicide for the 13th production of
"WOW - Women of Word with a few Man Made
Words," set for 6 p.m. on Monday, March 10,
at CAM Basement Transmissions, 145 West 11th St.,
Erie.
Local agencies that help people that have been through
these types of crises will be there to share knowledge and
insight.
The event is free and open to the public and showcases a
diverse cast of poets, dancers, singers and percussionists.
WOW's mission is to eliminate barriers so that people
can be connected to the services they need to become
survivors. We also aim to spark their creative side and
motivate them to become thrivers.
