Joelene Brzezinski, Six Foot Poles, & The Extrusions are proud to present: The first ever "Women of Rock" four hour festival concert to benefit the Zal Gaz Grotto's charitable efforts on behalf of kids in need, featuring members of Six Foot Poles, The Extrusions, spark, She Bop, The Cellar Cats, Medicine Men & Westside Girls, Salmagundi, The Switchbacks, Indie Rock Royalty, Trouble Clinic, & more! The show will follow a unique format:
1st set: Six Foot Poles will be the backing band for various top-notch guest frontwomen vocalists giving their all on their own handpicked great classic rock songs from the Poles' extensive list of '60s and beyond!
2nd set: Various all-women & women fronted duos, trios, & more, featuring members of many familiar & fantastic Grotto bands as mentioned above!
3rd set: The Extrusions will finish up the night as the backing band for another set of guest killer female vocalists belting out songs from across the decades, all handpicked by them from our 100+ song current rotation! For a finale, ALL the singers will take the stage for two specially chosen NEW songs to bring the house down!
All this for just $5 cover per person (all ages show)! You can feel good knowing that not only will all profits from drinks purchased at the great Grotto bar go towards their mission of providing crucial dental services to kids in need as always, but all the musicians involved are donating our services, so ALL door proceeds will also go to the Grotto for those same wonderful charitable causes!
Please note that this will not be your average Grotto performance. There will be special arranged seating up front in the normal dance floor spot and table seating beyond that, but don't worry dancers, there will be a dance floor set up further back in the ballroom for you to do your thing!
