A day of rhythm in the woods. Mostly West African drumming but some rhythm games and a chance for a bit of improvisation, a song or two and a special treat, some storytelling from the fabulous Racheal Murry. Based in the youth hostel in Shining Cliff Woods: how much we're 'out' will be weather dependent, but in or out, it's a beautiful space. Bring your own lunch, or food to share. Hot drinks provided but if you have a special preference bring that too.
Price - £30, earlybird (if booked and paid for by Nov 19th), £38 after that. Half day (before & including lunch) £20, or £28 if booked after Nov 19th. I'll have some concessionary places so contact me if you really want to come but are struggling with finances. If you want to give yourself an extra special treat you can book a bed in the hostel the night before or the night after for an extra £20. If enough of you book I'll certainly be treating myself to that!
Open to all levels of rhythmical ability, even complete beginners. All women and non-binary people welcome. Child friendly but it's quite a long day so you'll need to consider how they might manage it.
