Women in the Wild is a program designed to bring together women and, people from across the county, who are interested in learning more about outdoor recreational activities. Participants will learn useful skills from Park Rangers, guest speakers, and their fellow "women in the wild" while building a non-judgmental, beginner friendly community that will leave them feeling confident to take on the "wild" on their own.Session 6 will be "Art in the Park." This year, we’re offering a unique experience to connect with the natural world! Join us at Lone Elk Park Visitors Center for a lesson in life-drawing guided by one of our Park Rangers with a background in fine arts! Participants will learn to use charcoal to sketch elk and wildlife from life to paper at a beginner’s level, and how to turn these sketches into masterpieces of their own unique styles. Supplies will be provided and all levels are encouraged to bring their enthusiasm and creative flair!
