Women in the Wild is a program designed to bring together women and, people from across the county, who are interested in learning more about outdoor recreational activities. Participants will learn useful skills from Park Rangers, guest speakers, and their fellow "women in the wild" while building a non-judgmental, beginner friendly community that will leave them feeling confident to take on the "wild" on their own.Session 4 will be “Night Hike." Explore Queeny Park on a 2-mile hike to learn the cool ways our bodies adapt to the darkness, safety tips and gain confidence navigating in the dark. This is perfect for the person would like to try camping but a little nervous being outside at night. This is a great way to meet new people, learn new things and make connections that will take you on more adventures!
