This FREE, Hands-On, Introductory Women in the Trades training is scheduled Monday through Friday, July 29 - August 2, 2024, 8 am to 5 pm each day. *Women in the Trades trainings are designed specifically for women interested in a non-traditional career in the trades.
Training covers hands-on practice on heavy equipment including Hydraulic Excavators, Dozers, and front-end Loaders. Pre-operational 360 degree walk arounds, control familiarization, basic equipment functions, basic operating techniques and safety rules and practices.
**All applicants must provide the following documents for acceptance into the training program: a copy of your birth certificate, high school diploma or GED, high school transcripts or GED scores, Social Security card, DD214 (veterans only), a valid driver’s license.**

This training opportunity is designed to provide participants with an experiential understanding of a career in the construction trades and to enhance participants' abilities to gain employment within the construction industry.

-Participants must be available all five days of training.
-Applicants will be contact to schedule an interview if space is still available in the training(s) they have applied to.
-All applicants must participate in the interview process to be considered for final placement in training.
