Rooted in Resilience: Nurturing Land & Leadership
About this Event

Hosted by Women in Ranching (WIR) in partnership with the Paicines Ranch Learning Center, the WIR Confluence '25 is designed to spark meaningful conversations and deepen connections to the land and one another. This immersive experience offers participants the rare opportunity to engage with each other and with guest speakers, exchange ideas, share stories, and celebrate the power of collective action. Through collaborative activities, open dialogue, and thought-provoking panel discussions, we will build on our roots, laying the groundwork for continued growth.

Participation Levels & Registration

All registration levels except for the Local's Pass are all-inclusive, covering programming, meals, lodging & shuttle.

Community Champion // Tier 1 - $500

Choose this tier if your business is well established and you have stable access to land, financial resources, and food security. Your contribution at this level helps sponsor lower-tier tickets and offsets operational costs, allowing more women in ranching to join who might otherwise be unable to afford a ticket. By selecting this tier, you are empowering a more diverse and inclusive gathering by ensuring that people with varied economic backgrounds can attend.

Steward of the Land // Tier 2 - $325

Choose this tier if you are building your business, lease land without full stability and/or are in the early years of paying for your land, but you have a sound bank relationship and are food secure. By selecting this tier, you are demonstrating a commitment to paying our leaders and speakers their full value as presenters.

Early-Stage Rancher // Tier 3 - $225

Choose this tier if you are a beginning but active rancher or farmer (defined by USDA as 10 years or less of management experience) and have limited financial resources but still wish to actively support the event and our community’s mission. This tier covers the cost of your attendance and helps keep the event sustainable. By selecting this tier, you’re demonstrating a commitment to our shared community values and supporting accessible, impactful programming.

Local's Pass // Programming & Meals (no lodging or shuttle) - $175

Choose this tier if you are local and will not need lodging during the event (OR if you'd like to book lodging off-site, see options below).

This ticket type is also good for those who would like to stay in their RV/camper or would like to pitch a tent (RV/camping is an additional $25).

Student Scholarship // (only 3 available) - $0

The students who have been a part of Women in Ranching programming add a great deal to our organization. We know you are working, being a full-time student and trying to find your place in the world. We encourage you to no later than January 13th, 2025. You will be notified on Monday, January 27, 2025 of a final decision.

Mileage / Airfare Reimbursement

>> Are you an active rancher/farmer in need of travel scholarship support?

>> Are you an indigenous rancher/farmer in need of travel scholarship support?

If you check yes to either, Women in Ranching will cover up to $700 in travel expenses, including flights or mileage. To make the most of this support, we encourage you to book your flights as early as possible, as costs typically increase closer to the event. Please save your receipts for reimbursement and ACH checks will be issued on the first day of the event.

When you register you will be able to indicate if you would like travel scholarship support.

Lodging & Camping Options

Lodging at Paicines Ranch consists of an assortment of cottages, full-kitchen houses and private rooms. All ticket levels (except for the Local's Pass) include a private lodging room. When you register you will be able to indicate any special needs.

For those wishing to camp, we have a lawn and parking lot space available for tents/RV campers and you'll have access to bathrooms and a shower. Camping is $25 and you'll need to purchase the Local's Pass.

If you would like to buy the Local's Pass and book lodging offsite, alternative options are listed below. Please contact any of the below for more information:
