Christine Benedict
Executive Director of Girls on the Run of South Central Wisconsin
Christine Benedict joined Girls on the Run of South Central Wisconsin as their Executive Director in 2019. She came to that role with 12 years of volunteer service to the organization as a board member, board chair, and coach at a number of sites throughout the council’s territory. Prior to her work with Girls on the Run, Christine enjoyed a 20-year career in higher education largely working in admissions, marketing and financial aid. When she’s not working, Christine enjoys traveling with her husband Eric, running, reading, and serving as a Dane County Youth Commissioner, and volunteering as a mentor.
Renee Moe
President & CEO, United Way of Dane County
Renee Moe brings more than 25 years of experience building collaborative, community-wide solutions as the President & CEO of United Way of Dane County. A champion of equity, innovation, and collective impact, Renee leads one of the region’s most trusted nonprofits, uniting individuals, businesses, and organizations to address complex societal issues. Her leadership journey began as an intern at United Way, and her lived experience as a global citizen and military child shapes her bold, compassionate approach to community change.
Lisa Smith
CEO, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin – Badgerland
With over two decades of nonprofit executive leadership, Lisa Smith is passionate about developing people, strategy, and purpose. As CEO of Girl Scouts of Wisconsin – Badgerland, Lisa empowers girls to explore, lead, and thrive. Her previous leadership roles across Girl Scouts councils and mental health organizations have shaped her deep understanding of inclusive, mission-driven governance. Lisa also brings more than 10 years of consulting experience in strategic planning and leadership development.
