Join Bletchley Park for a day of talks and discussions revealing the often hidden stories of women’s roles in intelligence during World War Two. The day will cover stories from all over the world, individuals from different countries or those based in other parts of the world.The ticket price includes a buffet lunch and access to all talks and panels.

In Conversation with Bletchley Park Veterans: We are honoured to be joined by former Bletchley Park staff members Betty Webb, MBE, and Ruth Bourne. As members of the ATS and WRNS respectively, Betty and Ruth’s work during the 1940s played a crucial role in the Intelligence operation that flourished at Bletchley Park. In this session they will share their memories and answer questions from the audience about their experiences of being part of one of Britain’s best kept wartime secrets. Please note that the inclusion of this session is subject to the health and well-being of the Veterans on the day of the event and may be subject to change at short notice.
- Dr Kate Vigurs: Researcher and author of Mission France: The True History of the Women of SOE.
- Dr Claire Hubbard-Hall: Author of Her Secret Service: The Forgotten Women of British Intelligence.
- Dr Sarah-Louise Miller: Researcher, educator and author of The Women Behind the Few: The Women’s Auxiliary Air Force and British Intelligence during the Second World War.
- Krystel von Kumberg: PhD candidate in Russian and East European History. Her research focuses on the Cold War, political violence, intelligence, and terrorism.
