About this Event

Fearless HR: Give to Gain
Hosted by the Women in HR Network, in partnership with Realise HR
This International Women’s Day, we’re bringing together HR leaders for a session that blends courage, humour, honesty and the kind of conversations we don’t have often enough.
This is a space for real talk - not polished perfection.
A place where we unpack the habits, pressures and stories that hold us back, and explore what happens when we lead with more self‑awareness, generosity and humanity.

Through shared experiences, lived wisdom and a few laughs along the way, we’ll dive into the spirit of Give to Gain: how giving our time, our truth, and our vulnerability as women leaders creates stronger cultures, braver teams, and workplaces where we can actually thrive.

You’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, more connected — and ready to lead fearlessly, on your own terms.

In this session we will cover:

  • Welcome drinks, nibbles & opening remarks from Georgina Kelly
  • Panel discussion moderated by Claire, exploring “Give to Gain” and what it means for women today
  • Round‑table discussions, sparked by Claire’s story:
“Give to Gain: Living, Leading & Thriving — Claire’s Story + HR Leadership Roundtable”
  • Networking & connection with fellow senior HR leaders

No slides. No corporate masks.
Just real women, real leadership, and real impact.

Who are we?

The Women in HR Network is a not-for-profit community for HR professionals across all specialisms. Founded in 2022 and now with over 4,000 followers, our purpose is to support female leaders by fostering community and allyship.

We’re thrilled to expand beyond London, building regional communities in the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands, East of England, Sussex, South West, Scotland and the UAE!

These gatherings are all about connecting a group of phenomenal women across the HR profession. Together, we aim to lead the way in having open, honest conversations about seeking help, offering support, and embracing the fact that none of us have it all figured out.

The WiHR Network ticket fee will be used to reinvest in future event and building regional communitites. Claire & the fantastic team at Realise HR have kindly contributed partnership, covering the venue and catering costs.
