This is a two week crash course on how to launch your small business. There are so many incredible artisans, intellectuals, craftspeople, authors, and other creatives here in CNY. Many of us know we could step away from our 9-5 or corporate life, but don't know what steps we can take to legally and successfully launch our ideas.
The intention of this course is to help you take the first steps, or gain the knowledge to confidently move forward. We will start by identifying your unique business needs, getting to the core of what matters, creating a business name, business card and logo, going through the basics of legally incorporating, when to do your taxes, how to determine if a physical store or website is best for you, and details on how to build your best suited online platform.
This course is $100 per guest for a total of 4.5 hours learning time, however there are "homework" assignments for this class.
Attendees are expected to bring a note pad and a pen, come with an open mind, and the confidence to take the first steps.
We will meet Friday Dec 13, and Friday Dec 20 from 6-8:15pm
